Welcome to my Blog

Let’s get ready to WEBCAST…  Oh wait, I am in the wrong forum.  For those of you that I have had the pleasure of meeting you live or through webcasts, welcome back.  For those who this is the first time to experience my style, I am ecstatic to meet you.   I have been with Microsoft since September of 2003, first as a contractor and then full time.  I have been in the computer industry since who knows when.  I have always had a mind to take things apart just to see how they work.  I have also seen all sides of the industry.  I am not sure if you care about my credentials, but I am a MCSE, past MCT.  I am looking forward to hearing from everybody and getting to share my experiences and know how with you.

My current role is as a Partner Soultions Advisor on the Microsoft Across America team; I love technology and get to present it to Partners, IT Professionals, and computer users such as you.  The common forum I present in is called TS2.   I do Live Briefings, Webcasts, User Groups, Partner presentations, Technology Conferences, and many other ways to engage with, and on behalf of our Partners

So I am jumping into the Blogging world to share some of my experiences, events, learnings, frustrations, and other tips and tricks.  Thanks for peeking in and I look forward to exchanging ideas.

hi BVA,

I am trying to build a report. On the same space I wanted to display Pie-chart/datagrid depending on user selection.

The user can switch between chart and data depending on his selection below the area.

Can we do it with SSRS.

Regards,

Hi Bryan,

I've watched your screencast titled "Reporting Service Enhancement" and it's really helpful. You meationed that the report designer in SQL2008 becomes a standalone tool. However, after installation of SQL2008 enterprise edition, I could not find the standalone tool anywhere. Seems that it's still with the BIDS. Can you please let me where I can download the standalone report designer?

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Regards,

Jack
