FY09 completed – Here is to FY10

Many of you know Microsoft’s fiscal calendar is July 01 – June 30.  Hopefully many of you took advantage of the offers for the end of “Fiscal” year push.  We also had some great testing vouchers that expire today.  So what does FY10 hold?  Great question, that is what July is usually about.  This is when we make plans for the fiscal year.  I know there are some changes coming around the Partner Program and encourage every partner to attend WPC in New Orleans.  If you are not attending in-person, then you might want to be by a computer with internet to watch the keynote, or at least read about what is happening.  I also know that my organization is looking at how we can help the partners become successful, and deepen the learning experience.  I know that it is going to be another big launch year.  Windows 7 ROCKS, as well as Server 2008 R2, Exchange 2010, and Office 2010 -

As I have been reflecting on my past year, I have had many influential conversations with both Partners and Customers, I thank you for that.  One of the things We as employees do at the end of the FY, is our Review.  As I have prepared mine, with all the details of meeting or not meeting my commitments, I ran across this article by Michelle Collins , and found it valuable especially for those of you that may be looking on how to reward or motivate your employees.
